An Update On Our Shipping Partners - We Are No Longer Using Evri For Any Services, Effective 15 Jan 2023
At Omnitau, we pride ourselves on being better than the normal brand. We want your shopping experience to be as painless and as successful as it possibly can be. That is why we offer AI-powered sizing tools, free 30 day returns, among many other market beating quality of life features.
We're aware of the frustrations many members of the public have experienced in the recent days, weeks, and months with Evri deliveries (and its predecessor Hermes) from their perennial online retailers. Parcels have been lost, deliveries delayed, and their customer service has been absent.
Omnitau primarily use DPD for our deliveries, and have always done. While no courier is faultless, DPD have never lost a parcel we have sent with them, and we feel their Predict tracking service is best in class.
We also use Royal Mail's Tracked service and Evri's Next Day for a minority of deliveries of smaller packages.
We have taken the decision, effectively today 15th January, to discontinue the use of Evri for any deliveries. Although this will increase our cost of delivering your items, we feel compelled to act given the service levels offered by Evri show no signs of abating.
We will continue to use Royal Mail's Tracked 24 service for small packages, although please be assured that during any future strike action that may be taken by the CWU, we will switch all shipments to DPD, size irrespective, to ensure your deliveries will be as seamless as possible.
